I'm excited to the point of being tingly about the advent of Intel Macs. The future looks very bright for Apple's hardware. It seems the company will finally have a chip supplier that actually gives a $^ about R&D.
If I actually understood half of the stuff from the anandtech article, I'd probably be even more excited. I love that site, but sometimes I just have to gloss over the details or I get lost.

I don't know about anyone else here, but my delete key (the smaller of the two) DOES delete the letter to the right of the cursor. I see no difference in the functionality between my Mac and Windows boxes as far as this is concerned.
There are two BIG things that I'm surprised this article didn't even mention, though. The first is making the Open/Save dialogs more functional. Windows definitely has it right here (By the way, I definitely disagree about hiding files in these boxes). Being able to delete/rename/move files from inside the dialog boxes is something I treasure when working with Windows. It's really about the only thing I treasure, though.
The second feature that I'm surprised was omitted is the ability to resize windows from any edge. I like that you can do this in Windows. However, I also like the ability to drag windows by the edges in OS X. So I would like to make a suggestion: Dragging from the edges like we have now, but by adding a modifier key (or even right-clicking), you can enable resizing of the window. Or hell, even the other way around. All I know is I would like to have both options in my ideal OS.
The points you highlight seem kind of nitpicky. Small stuff that I could live with or without. I think that making the command key movable would be a step in the right direction, but to make the change mandatory for all users seems a bit extreme.
That's my 2¢
